1. Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of KOSPI News (kospinews.com, the "site"), an English-language data site about the Korean stock market. By accessing or using the site you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
2. The service
The site provides market data, charts, rankings, corporate filing summaries and macro indicators relating to the Korean stock market (KOSPI and KOSDAQ) and related global markets, including:
- Daily close prices, market caps and valuation ratios for Korean listed stocks
- Top movers, foreign investor flows, IPOs and dividend rankings
- Summaries of corporate filings from DART
- Rates, FX, commodity, money supply and valuation indicators
- An optional email newsletter
We may add, change, suspend or discontinue any part of the site at any time without notice.
3. Information only — not investment advice
Any label such as "Pick", "Bullish", "Bearish", "Greed" or "Fear" is a descriptive data classification, not a recommendation. Investment decisions are made at your own risk and are your sole responsibility. KOSPI News is not a licensed investment adviser, broker or dealer in any jurisdiction. Consider seeking advice from a qualified professional before making investment decisions.
4. Data accuracy and delays
The site draws on sources we believe to be reliable, including the Korea Exchange (KRX), DART, the Bank of Korea and Yahoo Finance. However, data may be delayed, incomplete or contain errors, and may differ from official data used for actual trading.
- Korean market data is generally updated after the market close and is not real-time
- Global prices and indicators may be delayed and are refreshed on a schedule, not continuously
- Filing summaries are automated translations and condensations of the original Korean filings; the original filing prevails

The site is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, timeliness, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
5. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, KOSPI News and its operator shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or special loss or damage, including trading losses or lost profits, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the site or any content on it, even if advised of the possibility of such loss.
The site may be temporarily unavailable because of maintenance, server problems, third-party data outages or events beyond our control. We accept no liability for any such interruption.
6. Copyright and permitted use
The design, layout, text, charts, code and compilations on the site are the property of KOSPI News and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may use the site for personal, non-commercial purposes. Reproducing, redistributing, scraping or commercially exploiting the site or its content without prior written permission is prohibited.
Brief quotation with a link and attribution to KOSPI News is permitted. Underlying market data remains the property of the respective data providers (Korea Exchange, DART, Bank of Korea, Yahoo Finance and others), and their terms apply to that data.
7. Third-party links and advertising
The site contains links to third-party websites, including data sources and filings. These are provided for convenience only. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, accuracy or privacy practices of third-party sites, and a link does not imply endorsement.
The site may display advertising served by third parties such as Google AdSense. Advertisements are selected by the advertising provider, and KOSPI News is not responsible for their content or for any product or service they promote.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to interfere with the operation of the site, attempt to gain unauthorized access to it, use automated tools to bulk-download content or overload our servers, or use the site for any unlawful purpose.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to the site shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Korea.
10. Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page shows when they were last updated. Your continued use of the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.
